Mark HerouxMark L. Heroux, CPMM

Mark, Founder and Managing Partner of Performance Resource Partners, has assembled an experienced, talented team of professionals to provide exceptional services. Arch CurrieArch Currie, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Arch is a collaborating partner with PRP and an expert in the areas of building design and technology, organization management, capital improvement programs, and facilities management. He is a registered architect and LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction.

Arch helps clients improve organization effectiveness and technical expertise with a view to proper prioritization of client needs. He applies more than 40 years of design, planning and management experience in nationally recognized design and facilities organizations, such as AECOM/Ellerbe Becket and Yale University, to implement viable cost-effective goals in the client’s business. Examples of the strategies Arch has executed include:

  • Oversight of Design and Construction activities
  • Administration of Capital Improvement Programs
  • Development of organizational policies and procedures
  • Advancement of personnel improvement programs
  • Creation of institutional design standards for facilites building systems

Jim WallaceJim Wallace

Jim is a PRP collaborating partner with decades of experience in educational administration, including facilities operations and planning, construction management, campus auxiliary services, human resources, financial management, re-engineering and change management. Within higher education settings he has provided leadership to campus residential organizations, food service operations, conference and event services, mail services, shipping and receiving, landscape management, custodial services, routine repair and maintenance services, parking management and power plant operations and utilities.

Some of Jim’s professional accomplishments include:

  • Reorganization of campus facility organizations resulting in a 20% budget saving without affecting overall service.
  • Application of technological changes within auxiliary enterprises driving enhanced productivity and improvements in customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiation of numerous collective bargaining agreements providing both financial and non-financial benefits to both the institution and bargaining unit members.
  • Implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems allowing facility organizations to track repairs, measure productivity, manage their workforce and inform decisions regarding equipment replacement.

With a Master’s Degree in Education, Jim has developed and presented numerous training and development programs with an emphasis on communication, customer service, and diversity. He has also taught middle school math and social studies. His clients have included:

David WardDavid Ward, P.E., LEED AP, CBCP

A collaborating partner with PRP, Dave is a professional mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience in construction, contracting, engineering, and project development of mechanical systems in the commercial, industrial, institutional and government sectors and is an expert in residential, commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Dave is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, a Building Operator Certification trainer, an EPA Star Partner and holds an OSHA 30 certification.

Dave collaborates with building owners and operators to improve building performance and comfort while reducing operating costs through mechanical improvements, optimization of operating and maintenance procedures and operator training. Examples of Dave's professional accomplishments include:

  • Prime consultant for DCAMM during the development and implementation of $450 million Accelerated Energy Program to reduce energy consumption in State portfolio of 6,000+ buildings.
  • Developed over $200 million of Energy Saving Performance Contracts in federal and municipal facilities.
  • Developed a combination of energy saving projects at 10 hospitals for Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, which won the Energy User News Best Healthcare Facility Project Award.

Dave holds three patents for methods of improvements to HVAC and refrigeration systems. He has been involved with all aspects of the development and installation of Design Build energy conservation projects including facility energy use audits, project development, system design, life cycle cost analysis, construction management, commissioning, and measurement and verification of energy savings. Jeff BednarzJeff Bednarz

A collaborating partner with PRP, Jeff brings 25+ years of diversified expertise in security and facilities management to the PRP Team. This includes long-range institutional planning, construction management, and strategic forecasting.

Jeff has considerable expertise with maintaining and executing regulatory compliance mandates at the local, state, and federal level, including OSHA, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), and the EPA. He is well-versed in Clery Act compliance, Title IV accreditation, and NECHE Standard 7 requirements for institutional resources, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience expanding emergency operations plans. In public safety leadership roles Jeff has shown a demonstrated aptitude for developing organizational cultures that embrace service, equality, diversity, inclusion, and intercultural competencies.

Highlights of Jeff’s professional achievements include:

  • Over 15 years of successful coaching and engaging campus leadership stakeholders on the complex demands of the security and facilities environments, with a focus on organizational development, culture change, communications, and training.
  • Development of programming that aids negotiation of comprehensive contracts in security, facilities, construction, enterprise-class video management, and access control in higher education.
  • Vetting of human resources policies and procedures to delineate personnel responsibilities and position specifications.

A collaborating partner with PRP, Steve is a seasoned, results-oriented financial professional with extensive experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. With experience as a Chief Transformation Officer, he specializes in system implementations, process redesign, and change management initiatives that result in financial turnarounds and enhanced work environments. Some of Steve’s accomplishments include:

  • Turnaround of a $50M non-profit organization losing $7M a year to three consecutive years of positive return on net assets
  • Turnaround of a $25M security business losing $500k a year to a $500k profit in one years’ time.
  • Management of financial data & information for a $300M real estate project.

Brad PepinBrad Pepin

A collaborating partner with PRP, Brad is a seasoned Organizational Effectiveness professional with extensive experience leading change management and Learning & Development projects supporting Fortune 500 clients in manufacturing, supply chain/distribution, operations, and facilities management. Brad helps clients improve overall effectiveness by focusing on the human performance in integrated systems and processes. Brad brings to the PRP Team a breadth and depth of experience and skills, including training program design and evaluation, Instructional Design, Trainer evaluation, coaching & development, and eLearning authoring capabilities. Brad is a talented writer and communicator, and brings passion for metrics-driven results around training initiatives.

Brad’s professional achievements include projects with the following results:

  • A customized curriculum for new Operators using a proprietary software that yielded $1M in labor savings during 1st full season of use, 50% reduction in training time for some sites, and 38% improvement in processing efficiency and 42% better Serve Time compliance.
  • A training initiative aimed at temporary workers in Manufacturing Operations that resulted in: 14% increased production line efficiency, 50% reduction in packaging scrap, and throughput above that achieved by regular FTE Operators.
