Mark HerouxMark L. Heroux, CPMM

Mark is Managing Partner of Performance Resource Partners and has assembled an experienced, talented team of professionals to provide exceptional services. Mark’s unique diversification of experience includes operations and maintenance support, engineering, budgeting, contract administration, business development, organizational assessments, project management, and planning and construction management. Examples of achievements under Mark’s leadership include:

  • Effectively evaluated 120 million sq. ft. of facility for building system efficiencies and operational conditions that reduced costs by 10%.
  • Reduced costs and improved service delivery by reorganizing seven major entities.
  • Successfully operated a portfolio of more than 16 million square feet, and 50 facilities/campuses with 600 employees.
  • Directed $120-$140 million operating and capital budgets for facilities operations.
  • Partnered with clients saving millions of dollars in energy opportunities and building/ operational performance.
  • Implemented CMMS and CAFM enterprise tools that reduced maintenance cost by 12%.

Mark is the Founder of Performance Resource Partners and is nationally recognized for his innovative and practical approaches to solving clients’ challenges. Mark has more than 25 years of experience in the field of facilities and property management with a wide-range of business and operational knowledge. Mark is a member of International Facility Management Association, on the Board for the Association of Facility Engineering representing Chapter 37, Associate member of New England Hospital Engineers Society, and supports numerous facilities activities nation-wide.

Arch CurrieArch Currie, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Arch is a collaborating partner with PRP and an expert in the areas of facilities organization, project management and design integration. He is a Registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.

Arch helps clients improve organization effectiveness and technical expertise with a view to proper prioritization of client needs. He applies more than 30 years of design, planning and management experience in nationally recognized design and facilities organizations, such as Ellerbe Becket and Yale University, to implement viable cost-effective goals in the client’s business. Examples of the strategies Arch has executed include:

  • Implementation of techniques for refined staffing projections.
  • Development of analytical methods for projecting capital maintenance budget requirements.
  • Creation of institutional design standards for facilities building systems.
  • Assessment of Human Resource procedures to clarify personnel responsibilities.
  • Development of site-specific accounting systems for responsible cost management.
  • Facilitation of Contractor, Construction Manager and Design Professional selection


Arch is Owner of No Left Turn, LLC, an innovative architect with owner and consultative experience in the execution of significant building projects. Arch has presented to many facilities, design and construction associations on the benefits of consultants with strong experience working on the owners’ side of projects of which he has direct knowledge. Arch is a member of American Institute of Architects and supports numerous capital planning activities nation-wide.

Bert is a collaborating partner with Performance Resource Partners and a distinguished operations executive with over 30 years of experience in Retail and Education.  His executive experience includes managing facility operations, developing strategic business plans and supporting client relations and retention.  Following a long tenure with retail operations, Bert moved on to facility operations in the Education Market.  He has managed institutions that self-perform operations (such as 660 Corporation, a subsidiary of Boston University) and held staff roles, serving as Director of Administrative Services for Merrimack College. The past 20 years were spent soliciting and securing facility management contracts for operations management and maintenance support.  Bert has been a trusted advisor for well over 75 educational institutions, representing a combined total of over 110 million square feet of buildings and grounds.

Through a consultative approach, Bert prides himself on client achievements that have included:

  • Development of  long term relationships
  • Building strong trust and recognition of client issues through personal experience
  • Cooperatively designing solutions to increase facility management work productivity

Having served as a college administrator, he has been able to help clients work through internal challenges and bring about real-world change on their campuses.  Further, Bert keenly understands when and how colleges benefit from effective third party assessments of their facilities operations, and why it is critical to work with a company that truly understands the current fiscal challenges ahead for schools and colleges. Through a collaborative and inclusive assessment, Bert seeks to assist any business or institution to maximize their performance potential, both fiscally and operationally.

Arch CurrieScott R. Loring, CPCC

Scott is a collaborating partner with PRP and has over 20 years experience working in business and organizational development.  His diverse experience spans: executive coaching; conflict management; dispute mediation, and organizational assessment.

Scott received mediation training through the Harvard University Program on Negotiation (PON) as well as Mediation Works Inc. (MWI), where he serves on the board of court mediators. Scott is proficient in Non-Violent Communication (NVC), a communication model developed by Marshall Rosenberg.  Scott has an exceptional mediation settlement record of over 200 cases, primarily in the areas of personal, business and organizational disputes.

A skilled trainer and presenter, Scott is able to synthesize and present complex information to audiences in compelling and memorable ways.  Scott is a Certified Professional Coactive Coach (CPCC) and a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the Executive Coaching Institute (ECI).  He also holds a Certificate in Relationship Coaching.

Scott has an impressive track record including:

  • Over 15 years of successful coaching and consulting engagements for business leaders and teams, focusing on organizational development, culture change and communications
  • Projects with Universities to resolve academic tenure disputes and interdepartmental disagreements, allowing departments to operate with less discord and disruption

Brad PepinJames Pfister

Jim is a collaborating partner with extensive experience in operations consulting, project management, and processing and packaging engineering (largely within the foods and consumer goods industries). In his career, he has managed several, large, multi-disciplinary projects, both domestically and internationally, providing assistance to companies such as Benjamin Moore Paints, Mars, Starbucks, Nabisco Biscuit, Hartz Mountain, Kraft, Pepsico, Hillshire, General Mills/Pillsbury, Wella (P&G), Slim*Fast, Ralston, Glaxo SmithKline. Here are some of the many examples of experiences Jim has to offer our clients:

  • Developed the "4M" technique, which – when applied to poorly performing packaging operations – uses lean manufacturing methods to yield significant increases in efficiency…generally accompanied by consequent decreases in direct labor.
  • Authority in packaging machinery Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Commissioning Acceptance Testing (CAT).
  • Expert resource regarding food & drug sanitary piping and equipment design, meeting USDA, FDA, and GMP standards, as well as Clean-in-place systems for those plants.
  • Special projects:
    • Improved efficiency on high-speed ( >1100/min ) dry cereal pouching line. In ten weeks, line efficiency was increased 9%, garnering an additional $2.4MM in finished goods.
    • Developed a complete project management system for a Fortune 500 company that ultimately became required instruction for all new hires.
    • Managed $8MM expansion project for a confectionery line including process and packaging equipment. Project resulted in doubling line speed to 6000 pieces/min., and finished $2MM (-25%) under budget.
    • Developed and managed another $8MM project that installed the first, large distributive packaging operation. This system would allow for different secondary packaging operations to occur simultaneously, and created an aggregate reduction in packaging labor of 19 people.


Recognized internationally within the industry as the "Packaging Line Fixer", Jim has established a reputation for his ability to use "common sense" to achieve the optimum, most bang-for-the-buck solutions. Nationally known as an author, speaker, and expert witness, and is a past Chairman of the Packaging Consultant's Council and a member of the NJ Packaging Executives Club.
