Mark HerouxMark L. Heroux, CPMM

Mark is Managing Partner of Performance Resource Partners, LLC since 2009. He has assembled an experienced, talented team of professionals to provide exceptional services. Mark’s unique diversification of experience includes organizational assessments and realignment, staffing assignments, contract administration, operations and maintenance support, engineering, budgeting, business development, project management, and planning and construction management. Examples of achievements under Mark’s leadership include:

  • Saved clients millions of dollars in facilities management and operations through organizational assessments, realignments, and practical approach to benchmarking.
  • Effectively evaluated 210 million sq. ft. of facility for building system efficiencies and operational conditions that reduced costs of operations 3by 10%.
  • Reduced costs and improved service delivery by reorganizing seven major entities.
  • Successfully operated a portfolio of more than 16 million square feet, and 50 facilities/campuses with 600 employees.
  • Directed $120-$140 million operating and capital budgets for facilities operations.
  • Partnered with clients saving millions of dollars in energy opportunities and building/ operational performance.
  • Implemented CMMS and CAFM enterprise tools that reduced maintenance cost by 12%.

Mark is the Founder of Performance Resource Partners, LLC and is nationally recognized for his innovative and practical approaches to solving clients’ challenges. Mark has more than 35 years of experience in the field of facilities operations and management with a wide-range of business and operational knowledge. Mark has been associated with APPA-Leadership in Education, International Facility Management Association. Additonally Mark has been on the Board for the Association of Facility Engineering representing Chapter 37, an Associate member of New England Hospital Engineers Society, and supports numerous facilities activities nation-wide.

Arch CurrieArch Currie, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Arch is a collaborating partner with PRP and an expert in the areas of facilities organization, project management and design integration. He is a Registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.

Arch helps clients improve organization effectiveness and technical expertise with a view to proper prioritization of client needs. He applies more than 30 years of design, planning and management experience in nationally recognized design and facilities organizations, such as Ellerbe Becket and Yale University, to implement viable cost-effective goals in the client’s business. Examples of the strategies Arch has executed include:

  • Implementation of techniques for refined staffing projections.
  • Development of analytical methods for projecting capital maintenance budget requirements.
  • Creation of institutional design standards for facilities building systems.
  • Assessment of Human Resource procedures to clarify personnel responsibilities.
  • Development of site-specific accounting systems for responsible cost management.
  • Facilitation of Contractor, Construction Manager and Design Professional selection

 

Arch is Owner of No Left Turn, LLC, an innovative architect with owner and consultative experience in the execution of significant building projects. Arch has presented to many facilities, design and construction associations on the benefits of consultants with strong experience working on the owners’ side of projects of which he has direct knowledge. Arch is a member of American Institute of Architects and supports numerous capital planning activities nation-wide.

Jim WallaceJim Wallace

Jim is a PRP collaborating partner with extensive expertise in facilities operations management, long range planning, budget development, general staff supervision, and management and staff training and development. Jim primarily works with PRP on issues of day-to-day operations, cleaning management, maintenance planning and procedures, and document development.

Among Jim's professional achievements:

  • Developed and implemented training programs in skill development for cleaning staff, customer service techniques for all facilities staff and interviewing skills for numerous search committees.
  • Successfully negotiated numerous Union contracts resulting in positive changes both for the university and service staff.
  • Led processes of converting in-house campus services to contracted services including cleaning, food service, and entire facilities operations
  • Worked with colleges and universities to transition from no or outdated CMMC systems to new modern systems
  • Managed numerous construction projects from new building to major renovations and equipment replacement programs

Jim's experience includes:

  • Over 40 years as a higher education manager and administrator
  • Student affairs administrator and facilities operations manager at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
  • Director of Residence Life and Housing at the State University College at Buffalo
  • Director of Campus Oprations and Deputy Chief Facilities Officer at Massachusetts of Technology
  • Assistant Vice President for Campus Services, Suffolk University

David WardDavid Ward, P.E., LEED AP, CBCP

A collaborating partner with PRP, Dave is a professional mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience in construction, contracting, engineering, and project development of mechanical systems in the commercial, industrial, institutional and government sectors and is an expert in residential, commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Dave is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, a Building Operator Certification trainer, an EPA Star Partner and holds an OSHA 30 certification.

Dave collaborates with building owners and operators to improve building performance and comfort while reducing operating costs through mechanical improvements, optimization of operating and maintenance procedures and operator training. Examples of Dave's professional accomplishments include:

  • Prime consultant for DCAMM during the development and implementation of $450 million Accelerated Energy Program to reduce energy consumption in State portfolio of 6,000+ buildings.
  • Developed over $200 million of Energy Saving Performance Contracts in federal and municipal facilities.
  • Developed a combination of energy saving projects at 10 hospitals for Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, which won the Energy User News Best Healthcare Facility Project Award.

 

Dave holds three patents for methods of improvements to HVAC and refrigeration systems. He has been involved with all aspects of the development and installation of Design Build energy conservation projects including facility energy use audits, project development, system design, life cycle cost analysis, construction management, commissioning, and measurement and verification of energy savings. His clients have included:
